The third annual Men of Distinction luncheon recognized this year’s outstanding honorees on May 6, 2009 at the River Oaks Country Club. Dr. Denton Cooley, Drayton McLane, Jr. and Virgil Waggoner were recognized as Men of Distinction at the luncheon, chaired by Jack Kendall.
The luncheon benefitted the Bridges Program at Texas Children’s Hospital, directed by Dr. Judith Feigin, Executive Director, Bridges Program, and Chief at the Clinic for Attention Problems, Diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Disorders, and the Learning Support Center for Child Psychology at Texas Children’s Hospital and the Pediatric Neurological Institute, directed by Huda Y. Zoghbi, M.D. Director of the Jan and Dan Duncan Neurological Research Institute at Texas Children’s Hospital.
